About the department 
The department of Anthropology came into being in the year 1991. Besides the teaching program in M.A. / M.sc. in Anthropology the department has also M. Phil and PhD programs. The department offers specialization in social/ cultural anthropology and physical/ biological anthropology. The department of Social Work started as a self-financing program under the Department of Anthropology in the year 2007. It became a selffinancing department in the year 2017. The department offers a specialization on Human Resource Development/ Community Development.

Call for Papers
Abstracts are invited from Researchers Scholars/ students, College and University teachers and NGOs professionals in soft copies (in MS word) not exceeding 300 words in Times New Roman, 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing on the seminar theme/ sub-theme from the prospective participants should reach the

For deliberating better future for the coming generation, social sustainability encourages programs, initiatives and actions towards better utilization of resources in the area of human, social, economic and environment. Overexploitation of the resources created negative consequences in society in the past few decades that initiate a triggering effect of degradation
