International Conference on Conversation for Change: Youth and Drugs

The Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University, Chandigarh in association with National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi, is organizing an International Conference on the theme “Conversation for Change: Youth and Drugs” on 5th and 6th February, 2020. The conference will be a two-day event divided in different sessions presided over by the experts in the field.

Abstracts may be submitted in the below themes.

2-Drugs as a social status
3-India – most vulnerable country being a sub-continent
4-Energy club drugs and their impacts
5-Drugs as anti-depressants and post-traumatic stress disorder
6-DAD effect – depression addiction and denial
7-Youth as a most vulnerable category of drug abuse
8-Drug abuse as psychological defence of victim
9-Rehabilitation and resocialization of drug victim
10-Human rights of victims of drug abuse
11-Illegal drug use and public policy
12-Legal Perspectives on drugs
13-Gender and Drugs
14-Economics of Drugs
