About the Organization
National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, known as MANAGE, formerly National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, is an autonomous agricultural education institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The aim of the institute is to install managerial and technical skills to Extension Officers, Managers, Scientists and Administrators in the agricultural economy, to enable them to provide support and services to farmers and fishermen for practicing sustainable agriculture.

Programme Manager (PMU: FTF-ITT)

Doctorate in the discipline of Agricultural Extension / Management


  1. Working experience in International Institutes / National Institutes
  2. Association with International Training or other Academic Activities
  3. Proficient Computer Skills and statistical analysis tools
  4. Good oral and written communication skills suiting to International Communication.
  5. Ability to work in team & Travelling

Nature of Job

  1. Facilitation of preparation of Demand Analysis Report (DAR)/ Training need assessment.
  2. Correspondence with MEA, MoA & FW and USAID.
  3. Correspondence with Embassies of 20 countries in India, Indian Embassies and USAID missions in 20 countries
  4. Correspondence with Technical Training Institutes (TTIs) in India such as ICAR Organizations, National Institutes identified based on Demand Analysis Report. These organizations will be conducting 32 training programmes of 15 days duration. The correspondence includes finalization of MoU, Academic and Financial Correspondence.
  5. Correspondence with International Technical Training Institutes (ITTIs) in some of the Asian and African Countries covered by FTF-ITT identified based on Demand Analysis Report.
  6. The Program Manager / Program Executive is responsible receive the list of executives nominated by respective countries for different programmes, at different times separately. Short list of candidates, informs respective countries, inform individual candidates, assist them in obtaining Visa, Medical and other documents.
  7. Arrange ticket and insurance to shortlisted executives and facilitate their safe travel to reach designated Technical Training Institute with proper planning and arrangements.
  8. Programme monitoring and finalization of programme reports.
  9. Financial correspondence with USAID.
  10. PMU consists of Programme Director assisted by Programme Manager, Programme Executive and Junior Programme Executive. Program Manager assists the Program Director in all works of the Centre.

Initially for one year, extendable further based on performance for the programme period upto 2020
