About the Organization
National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support organisation under the National Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Their mandate is to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Consultant-Finance (NPCB&VI)

Job Profile

  1. Examine and assess proposals from states/ Union Territories under National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment (NPCB&VI).
  2. Prepare notes/agenda/presentation etc., for workshops/national review meetings/regional review meetings.
  3. Prepare accounts of NPCB&VI/ budgetary work like monitoring/settlements of Utilization Certificates/ financial reports.
  4. Assist in release of funds to states/UT’s under NPCB&VI.
  5. Prepare expenditure statement
  6. Prepare UCs to Pay and Accounts Office, MoHFW,
  7. Update and maintain performance data received from states UTs.
  8. Process release of funds/ sanction for all scheme related activities.
  9. Coordination with cash, PAO and principal Account Officer
  10. Would assist officers in training and clarification on MIS.
  11. Monitor data received through Management Information System.
  12. Maintenance of periodical reports and returns
  13. Any other work as and when assigned by senior officers.


  1. B. Com/ CA/ MBA/ M. Com or a graduate in commerce related field
  2. Practical knowledge of computer with expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, Tally etc

Two year experience in government accounting

Age Limit
50 years or less on the last date of application
