About
The Department of Governance Reforms has been created to improve the internal governance by bringing/ introducing reforms in the present system of governance and to achieve good governance through the use of Information Technology (IT) tools.

To assist the department in the process of governance reforms, three key commissions namely Punjab Governance Reforms and Ethics Commission (PGREC), Punjab Transparencies & Accountability of delivery of Public Services Commission and Punjab Right to Information Commission (PRTIC) have been brought under one umbrella, aiming towards inclusive growth and development in the state.

Post Details
  1. Name of the Post: Governance Fellows and Lead Governance
  2. No of Vacancies: Lead (One) and Fellows (Ten)
  3. Duration: 1 year extendable further by 1 year at a time for a maximum tenure of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
  4. Type of appointment: Contractual Basis

Eligibility
  1. Lead Governance: M. Phil or PhD in Social Sciences from reputed University or MBA from reputed business School Relevant work experience of at least 3 years in the case of candidate possessing PhD degree and at least 5 years in the case of candidate possessing M. Phil or MBA degree. Age: -30 to 40 Years.
  2. Governance Fellows: Master Degree in Social Sciences from a reputed University with 1- year relevant work experience or MBA from reputed Business School with 1-year relevant work experience or Bachelor Degree from reputed University with 3 years relevant work experience (only in exceptional cases). Age: – 23 to 28 Years.

Salary
  1. Lead: 1.50 Lacs per month to 2 Lacs per month depending on the academic qualifications and the duration and nature of work experience.
  2. Fellows: Rs 50,000/- per month to Rs 75,000/- per month depending on the academic qualifications and the duration and nature of work experience.
