About the Organization
National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support organisation under the National Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Their mandate is to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Finance Manager

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring of financial contracts, assessment of financial statements, supervising formulation and ensuring implementation of standard operation administrative procedures
  2. Budgeting & finance management of NHSRC and oversee such activities of its branch office(s)
  3. Ensuring financial discipline and operational efficiency of the organization
  4. Ensuring compliance to all statutory financial norms and government financial rules
  5. Nodal person to deal with the audit parties and facilitation in audit proceedings & reply
  6. Liasoning with MoHFW, local authorities and bank as and when required
  7. Periodic financial reporting to the Principal Administrative Officer, the Executive Director, MoHFW, EC & GB
  8. Supervising all payments and ensure accuracy in disbursements
  9. Monitoring / managing accounts in Tally package & address issues related to Tally
  10. Making relevant records available for audit
  11. Provide inputs for reply to RTI and/or questions from either house of Parliament, whenever required
  12. Preparation of committed expenses statement and its correspondence
  13. Supervising, mentoring & training the finance team
  14. Submission of Audited accounts after due approval of GB to MoHFW for lying to COPLOT
  15. Liaison and Coordination with IAHQ team during Ministry s internal audit and appropriate response to the Audit para
  16. Coordinate and conduct internal audit of RRC NE and NHSRC office annually.
  17. Undertake any other assignments which may be assigned from time to time by the Principal Administrative Officer or the Executive Director, NHSRC.

Competencies and Experience

  1. MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institution or qualified C.A. with graduation in commerce
  2. Work experience for minimum seven (7) years of post PG/Masters qualification in the area of maintaining finance systems in health/social sector
  3. Computer proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  4. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  5. Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks under pressure and should be a team leader
  6. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in NRHM/NHM

Between Rs.99, 000/- to Rs.1, 43, 000/- per month
