Job Description
ERM is seeking an Academy Learning Services Advisor to provide timely, personalized and expert advice to ERMers worldwide to create and pursue their professional development objectives. This position will report directly to the Academy Learning Services Manager and play an active role in the Academy Learning Services team based in Bangalore, India and the wider Learning community. The role takes ownership of the set-up and administration of the learning system and associated functionality while assuring seamless and relevant on-demand user-experience with a view to minimizing similar incidents in the future.

Key Responsibilities
Helpdesk responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, prioritize and action Helpdesk incidents
  2. Troubleshoot, track and resolve complex and / or escalated issues by identifying root cause
  3. Liaise with 3rd party content providers for raising and resolving incidents
  4. Provide accurate and timely responses to the business
  5. Create and constantly update knowledge management tools (e.g. FAQs) based on incidents raised and resolved
  6. Support team members’ liaison with relevant stakeholders while resolving incidents

LMS Administration responsibilities:

  1. Set-up and maintain system/content/delivery/reporting requirements
  2. Provide general education on functionality and content (e.g. “How to” guides, periodic calls)
  3. Provide support in actively promoting new features and announcements regarding Cornerstone (LMS)
  4. Liaise with regional and group IT to actively maintain seamless integration of learning systems with Workday and other Single-Sign-On related systems, and minimise service disruption
  5. Complete all set-up and maintenance activities within agreed SLAs
  6. Be able to step up and contribute towards procedures, Stakeholder engagements
  7. Be able to take initiative and lead LMS projects when required

Advisory responsibilities

  1. Provide custom analytics for specific stakeholder groups (e.g. regional HR, Service leads)
  2. Build and maintain engagement with users and interested parties (e.g. regional HR and IT teams)
  3. Liaise with regional HR teams for identifying and establishing training needs
  4. Act as the First Point of Contact (FPOC) for new requests and initiate liaison with relevant working groups
  5. Map L&D processes at ERM and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  6. Conduct change impact analysis for new changes being considered

Person Specification

  1. Should possess BSc or BA degree or equivalent in a relevant field. An MBA degree is desirable
  2. A 4-5 years of experience in the Learning domain
  3. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English
  4. Experience of working on SaaS LMS (e.g. Cornerstone OnDemand, SuccessFactors) and Helpdesk solutions (e.g. RemedyForce, ManageEngine) within a global environment
  5. Experience of LMS interactions with HR & Content provider systems’
  6. Must be flexible to work in multiple time zones as per assigned projects/responsibilities
  7. A proven track record of continuous professional development
  8. Strong customer service focused approach to work
  9. Excellent stakeholder management skills
  10. Culturally aware with the ability to think and work globally
  11. Demonstrated abilities in problem solving
  12. Detail orientated with high level of accuracy
  13. High level of self-motivation with professional approach to work
  14. Able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, with close supervision
  15. Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
  16. Organized, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and competing priorities, with close supervision
  17. Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office product & HTML
  18. Experience in leading a team is desirable
  19. Be ambitious and keen to progress within the organization
  20. Should possess leadership qualities
