Project Brief
Public Health Foundation of India’s (PHFI) through the “NACO-PHFI-TSU” project is setting up Technical Support Units – (TSUs) in five states of India namely Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The TSUs will provide technical assistance to the State AIDS Control Societies. The project has been awarded to PHFI by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO). The project period is three years.

Deliverables

  1. Support TSU Team Leader in finance, admin &procurement matters.
  2. Internal financial management.
  3. Preparation of SoE on a regular basis.
  4. Provide assistance to the auditors appointed by the Monitoring Committee to audit the Finance and accounts of the TSU.
  5. Manage the reception/front office.
  6. Maintain records of correspondence with stakeholders.
  7. Maintain office files, records related to travel bookings.
  8. Look after the office and office equipment’s.
  9. Provide Finance & Administrative reports/ Comparative analysis as and when required.
  10. Any other work assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility
Essential
Graduate in Commerce (Preferably B.Com or CA Inter) or any relevant field.

Desirable

  1. Around 3 years’ of experience in Accounting/Finance.
  2. Experience of working in social development sector is desirable.
  3. Familiarity with the organization and functions of the state and local public health systems/ State AIDS Control Societies.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages, ability to draft clear and effective letters and ability to work well in an inter-disciplinary team.
  5. Proficiency in Tally, Computerized Financial Management/Accounting packages and Microsoft Office.
  6. Experience of national/ international NGO will be given preference.
  7. Strong multi-tasking skills with an ability to working a team.
  8. Proficiency in typing and computer applications.

Remarks
Annual Salary (CTC) will commensurate with available skills and fitment of the incumbent as per the selection process.
