The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is a public engineering institution located in Hauz Khas, Delhi, India. Established in 1961, was formally inaugurated August 1961 by Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. First admissions were made in 1961. The institute was later decreed in Institutes of National Importance under the Institutes of Technology Amendment Act, 1963 and accorded the status of a full University with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for the Walk-in test/interview for project appointments under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis on consolidated pay renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Project Title
Electronically tuned ultra-wide band Microwave Monolithic Devices using Magnetic Nanostructures (IMPRINT Project –sub-project # 02 under RP03353) (MI01985G)

PhD in Material Science / Physics in the field of spintronics with three years of post PhD research experience. Working knowledge of thin film deposition especially PLD, magneto transport measurements and
experience in multiferroics is essential. The research work requires the development of Electrically tuned microwave devices with magnetic nanostructures.

  1. The candidates who fulfil the above qualifications/experience should appear for the interview.
  2. The candidates need to bring formal application form available here through proper channel along with complete information regarding educational qualifications indicating the percentage of marks of each
    examination passed, details of work experience and a recent passport size photograph, along with original certificates (both academic & professional) for verification on the date of interview.
  3. No candidate, who is already employed at the Institute / IRD shall be interviewed unless his/her application has been duly forwarded by their concerned establishment/sections. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates.
