About

National Institute of Technology Mizoram, also known as NIT Mizoram, or NITMZ, is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India. Located in Aizawl, NIT Mizoram was one of the ten new NITs established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (part of the Government of India, via order no. F. 23-13-2009-TS-III, dated 30th October 2009 and 3rd March 2010).

The primary objective of NIT Mizoram is to provide education through research and training in undergraduate and graduate programs. The school was declared an “Institute of National Importance” by the Indian Parliament. Students are admitted through the All India Entrance Exam – Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main).

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the temporary position of Lab Engineer (1 position) at NIT Mizoram.


Project Title

Special Manpower Development Project for chips to system design (SMDP-C2SD) project under MeitY.

Eligibility
1. Tech / M.E. degree in Microelectronics / VLSI with minimum 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA.
2. Expertise in VLSI related subjects and hands-on proven experience of using CAD tools like Cadence/Synopsys/VHDL either in a job or project-based courses.

Salary
The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year with a consolidated salary of Rs. 34, 000/- per month and it can be renewable for the duration of the project on a performance basis.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the Institute website on 29th August 2019. The interview for the shortlisted candidates will be held on 11th September 2019.
