The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (abbreviated IIT Hyderabad or IITH) is a public engineering and research institution located in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India. IITH is known for its academic strength, research, publications and proximity to IT and industrial hubs.

IITH was founded in 2008, among the eight young Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) It has 285 Undergraduate, 395 Masters, and 474 Ph.D. students with 181 full-time faculty. In 2019, IIT Hyderabad was ranked 8th, among engineering institutes in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework and 22nd overall The institute was placed under the top ten institutes for three years, consecutively.

IIT Hyderabad invites applications from the highly motivated candidates for working on solid oxide electrolysis cells, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology.

The initial appointment will for a period of 1 year, extendable for another 2 years based on performance. There is a possibility for a Ph.D. studentship provided the candidate clears the department screening.

  1. The candidate must have a B.E/B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a CGPA of at least 7.0 or equivalent.
  2. The candidate must have good programming skills in C or C++ (Preferably C++)
  3. Desirable Knowledge of electrochemistry, fuel cells, and numerical methods.
