Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Research and Development project.

Improvement in the properties of thermally sprayed Hydroxyapatite bio-ceramic coating reinforced with nanostructured materials

Eligibility
  1. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA) and M. Tech/M. E in Manufacturing Engineering or technology or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA).
  2. The applicant must be GATE qualified.
  3. Those who are appearing for M.Tech/ M.E last semester may also apply. Proof of M.Tech/ M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of the interview.
  4. Mechanical Engineering Stream with a specialization in Manufacturing Engineering.
  5. Work experience related to thermal spray coating fabrication, characterization, and analysis.
  6. The candidate should know the fundamentals of biomaterials, especially in thermal spray coating.
  7. The candidate should know the fundamentals of materials and metallurgy.
  8. Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and experience in experimental research.

  6. The interview will be held during September/October 2019.
  7. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis co-terminus with the project.
