Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) which was established in 1936 is a Deemed University fully funded by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Government of India. Center for Public Health within TISS is engaged with projects related to public health and health care utilization along with disease-specific epidemiologic studies.

About the Project: Morbidity Prevalence and Treatment Seeking Behaviour (MPTSB):
1- Gap analysis of curative care utilization in Maharashtra 
2-This project aims to understand the morbidity load of a population based on the types of illnesses, the treatment-seeking behaviour for those illnesses by levels of care and the cost involved in the treatment and the pattern of referral followed.
 MPTSB project is looking for field investigators with the following roles and responsibilities: 

Position: Field Investigator 
Number of vacancy: 1 (female) Duty station: Various blocks within Raigad District, Maharashtra 
Duration: 4 Months 
Remuneration: Basic salary 15000 + field allowance 2000 per month
