Intern, Curriculum, and Assessment
Location - New Delhi 
Duration - 1 month (May 2017 - June 2017) Working Hours - 6 to 8 hours/day - 5 days/week
Organization Overview: Simple Education Foundation (SEF) is a not for profit organization based out of Delhi. SEF was started by two Teach For India alumni in 2014 with a vision to create equal opportunities for quality education in India. Our mission is to transform public schools as centers of excellence in learning & teaching, where every stakeholder is nurtured and can redefine their own growth. Our team is spread across three states in India, working on diverse projects with a collective vision of educational equity. 
Role Overview:
 We’re a dynamic young team of engineers, teachers, storytellers and dreamers alike. We’re looking for someone who is interested in creating curriculum and assessments that drive change and innovation in the education sector. The intern will get a chance to directly impact the vision and mission of the organization by working on the curriculum and assessments for SEF. S/he will be responsible for designing a 21st century integrated curriculum and assessment framework that will drive instruction and impact evaluation across our projects. The Intern will work with the Learning and Teaching Team at Simple Education Foundation
What you can do:
 ● Be a messiah to the team and design curriculum that motivate and support the growth of all our students.
● Assist the Learning and Teaching team in designing an Impact Evaluation framework that will help us assess the effectiveness of our practices and also track holistic student learning. 
● Identify and implement curricular best practices from across the world.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have: 
● Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
● Deep interest in designing holistic curriculum and assessments 
● Love to research and implement innovative practices. 
● Showing initiative and making effort. 
● Well organized and disciplined. 
● Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) 
● Proficiency in Google applications
Basic Qualification: 
1-A completed or on-going Bachelor’s/Master’s degree Experience in teaching and learning practices Previous experience in designing curriculum and assessments is preferred.
This is an unpaid position. Interns will receive a completion certificate and a letter of recommendation from their reporting supervisor.
