About 
 J-PAL South Asia at the Institute for Financial Management and Research seeks qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Intern to manage our growing Admin needs at New Delhi office. You will provide support to the overall administration and management of the office which includes supporting CORE, Director’s Offices and Research projects in managing their logistics and operations, managing office assistants, expense management, basic IT support, asset management, and storage and petty cash management.As an Intern, your roles and responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
Office Operation
1-Support in Travel logistics (Air/train/cab bookings) to the Admin team.
2-Support in the management of office – (cleaning and pantry) supplies.
3-Assist in updating the books, periodicals and brochure records in the library4-Assist in updating the New joiner books records and issue the same upon instructions from supervisor.
5-Supervise and manage office assistants
6-Ensure that the office environment is pleasant and conducive for work for all staff including research staffs, field staff, data entry operators and guests if any.
7-Assist the Admin team for Asset tagging and verification.
8-Look out for new vendors and manage the old vendors for office maintenance, efficient running and project support. Support the Admin team in procurement, contracting and management of vendors and assets
9-Support Admin team in the Procurement process of equipment or services for J-PAL as a whole.
10-Being present in the office during normal working hours, and being on call at other times in case there are urgent problems
Event Coordination & Logistical Management
1-Upon request provide support to any in-house events and meetings held at the New Delhi office
2-Help in coordinating logistics for J-PAL employees and other guests visits
3-Support in managing with the A&F team for the payments of the vendor (for accommodation and travel)
4-Provide Admin assistance to employees and projects after taking directions from Supervisor
Educational qualifications:
1-Graduate – prefer a Commerce Graduate
2-Studied in English Medium
3-Good hands-on knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
4-Good communication skills – both verbal and written

1-Pleasing and positive personality
2-Flexible and go-getter
3-Works well under pressure and is a problem solver
